Mt Umunhum

Mt Umunhum, is a peak in the Santa Cruz Mountains, located in Santa Clara County, California. In the Ohlone language, "Umunhum" translates to "resting place of the hummingbird." Honoring the coastal Indians/ Indigenous.

Breath of Life at Mount Umunhum, Sierra Azul Open Space Preserve, a mountain made of stories. Indigenous people inhabited the region and cared for the land. In September 2017 public grand opening.
