Hi, I'm Sonia Denise, a passionate artist based in the beautiful Bay Area, California. My life is a tapestry woven from diverse threads – I'm a mother, a world traveler, a nature enthusiast, and a vegan foodie. But above all, I'm an artist who finds her truest expression through engaging the viewers mind with a sense of curiosity and sacredness.

I have always been an artist at my core - a creator who moves through life in many forms. Roller Figure Skater, Dancer, Yoga Teacher, Writer, Jewelry Designer.

Photography has become a way to explore my passion for hidden histories, and the wisdom woven into the world around us. Through the lens, I feel myself merging creativity with inquiry, capturing not just images but traces of knowledge, ancestry, and truth that often go unseen. Creating is how I understand the world, how I connect, and how I come home to myself.

When I'm not immersed in the world of inquiry, you'll find me walking my toy poodle Kiki, soaking up the sun, practicing yoga or planning our next family adventure.
